and Israel is not hidden from me;

Israel is defiled.

to return to their God.

Israel and fEphraim shall stumble in his guilt;
fJudah also shall stumble with them.

3 I know all about Ephraim;
Israel is not hidden from me.
Ephraim, you have now turned to prostitution;
Israel is corrupt.

to return to their God.
A spirit of prostitution is in their heart;
they do not acknowledge the Lord.
5 Israel’s arrogance testifies against them;
the Israelites, even Ephraim, stumble in their sin;
Judah also stumbles with them.
Hosea 5:3–5 — King James Version (KJV 1900)
3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: For now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled. 4 They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: For the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, And they have not known the Lord. 5 And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: Therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.
Hosea 5:3–5 — New Living Translation (NLT)
3 I know what you are like, O Ephraim.
You cannot hide yourself from me, O Israel.
You have left me as a prostitute leaves her husband;
you are utterly defiled.
4 Your deeds won’t let you return to your God.
You are a prostitute through and through,
and you do not know the Lord.
5 “The arrogance of Israel testifies against her;
Israel and Ephraim will stumble under their load of guilt.
Judah, too, will fall with them.
Hosea 5:3–5 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

And Israel is not hidden from Me;
For now, O Ephraim, you commit harlotry;
Israel is defiled.
4 “They do not direct their deeds
Toward turning to their God,
For the spirit of harlotry is in their midst,
And they do not know the Lord.
5 The pride of Israel testifies to his face;
Therefore Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity;
Judah also stumbles with them.

what they have done is not hidden from me.
Now that Israel acts like a prostitute,
it has made itself unclean.

and return to their God.
They are determined to be unfaithful to me;
they do not know the Lord.
5 Israel’s pride testifies against them.
The people of Israel will stumble because of their sin,
and the people of Judah will stumble with them.
Hosea 5:3–5 — American Standard Version (ASV)
3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me; for now, O Ephraim, thou hast played the harlot, Israel is defiled. 4 Their doings will not suffer them to turn unto their God; for the spirit of whoredom is within them, and they know not Jehovah. 5 And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore Israel and Ephraim shall stumble in their iniquity; Judah also shall stumble with them.
Hosea 5:3–5 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

Hosea 5:3–5 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

and Israel isn’t a stranger to me.

Judah, you fall down along with them.
